It’s an angler’s dream come true.
The Oldest Bass Fishing Tournament on the West Coast
ADULTS: $50 to enter. Fishing for Striped Bass
Each participating angler must purchase a ticket. Each adult angler must be 16 years or older. Hats are limited to the first 300 – first come, first served.
KIDS: $10 to enter. Fishing for Striped Bass & Catfish
Each angler must be 15 years of age or younger and can weigh-in Striped Bass or Catfish. The first 50 ticket holders are eligible to receive a “Kids” Derby Hat.
Fishing Tournament Awards & Prizes
This year, we have an amazing winner’s purse for all fishing tournament participants.
Awards:
Awards will be presented at 4:00 pm on Sunday, Oct. 12, at the foot of Main Street, downtown Rio Vista. All winners must be present to receive their prizes.
Winners must be present to win and are responsible for all state and federal taxes and registration, if applicable. The Rio Vista Bass Derby reserves the right to substitute prizes, if necessary; and additional prizes may be available based on donations.

2nd Chance Raffle
Raffle Drawing Sunday October 12 at 4:PM in front of City Hall! Must be present to win!

Striped Bass and Catfish
Ages 15 and under
1st Place $100 - Gift Card
2nd Place $75 - Gift Card
3rd Place $50 - Gift Card
Additional prizes will be based on donations from our sponsors and supporters. We want to encourage the younger generation to learn to fish.
