Welcome to the Rio Vista Bass Derby and Festival application process.  We have a vision that this year’s festival will reflect an earlier era when the Festival was filled with artisans and crafters displaying and selling their unique wares.  We are providing you with this check list to be certain you have all the necessary information to make your application process as simple as possible.  The Arts and Crafts vendor designation is for individuals who hand make items that will be sold at the festival.  If your items are mass produced, you must complete a commercial vendor’s application.  Please note that the commercial section will be much smaller and the Arts and Crafts section will be the major portion of the festival.

** ARTS & CRAFTS VENDOR CHECKLIST **

  • To apply for a space, send a completed application.
     
  • A copy of our rules signed by you or your authorized representative.
     
  • Pictures of your booth and all items for sale (referral to a web site not acceptable).
     
  • Fees: Booth fees - $125 for local and $150 for non-local (see attached application for local definition).
     
  • Certificate of Liability Insurance ($1,000,000) with certificate holder: Rio Vista Bass Festival.
    It is strongly suggested that you obtain this insurance: the Chamber of Commerce is not able to provide liability insurance for individual booths.  This will protect you and your business.  The certificate must be received within one month of your application to finalize your space assignment

  • City of Rio Vista Business License Application. (If you already have a business license you may use that one, but it must be displayed in your booth.)
     
  • Please double check your application and this checklist to ensure that all items have been sent in. We will not accept your application if it is not complete (the only exception is the liability insurance form).
     

Return all items no later than August 1, 2008 to:

NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER OCTOBER 1, 2008.

You will receive a confirmation of your acceptance to our event within two weeks of your receipt of ALL items in your application.   Approximately 10 to 14 days prior to the event, we will send out space assignments with a map and instructions.  We look forward to seeing you at the 2008 Rio Vista Bass Derby and Festival on October 10, 11, 12, 2008.
